Alan Ostergren

Alan Ostergren is an attorney in private practice in Des Moines. His practice is focused on election and political law, civil rights, trials and appeals. He is also the President and Chief Counsel of the Kirkwood Institute, a nonprofit public-interest law firm devoted to promoting the constitutional rights of Iowans. He was previously the Muscatine County Attorney where he served as President of the Iowa County Attorneys Association and a board member with the National District Attorneys Association. He is a graduate of Grinnell College and Drake University School of Law.
