Ed McGill has been with Northwestern Mutual for 30 years and Co-Founded McGill Junge Wealth Management with Ross Junge 7+ years ago. He has an extensive background in asset and income protection, wealth management, incentive compensation plans, tax efficient retirement distribution planning and comprehensive financial planning for both individuals and businesses. Ed graduated with a degree from Drake University’s College of Business and over the years has attained various professional designations including CFP, CLU, ChFC, CASL, RICP and AEP.
Ed and his wife Dawn will celebrate their 30-year wedding anniversary this year and have 3 sons. Turner who is 27 and is going to Nairobi Kenya to be a Special Needs Teacher, Carson, who is 25 and is a Private Wealth Associate at McGill Junge and then Blake 20, who just finished his sophomore year at Iowa State’s College of Engineering.
When Ed’s kids were growing up he was as a coach for numerous youth basketball, football and baseball teams. He has a passion for helping kids and has donated his time/talents/treasures over the years to a variety of organizations including: Starts Right Here, Big Brothers Big Sisters Central Iowa, Orchard Place, United Way, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Coaches vs. Cancer and Blank Children’s Hospital.
