As the owner of Blue Pencil, I am passionate about empowering nonprofits to achieve their missions with greater effectiveness and sustainability. With expertise in nonprofit consulting, I help organizations enhance operational efficiency, drive strategic growth, and maximize their community impact.

Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of working with several small businesses and nonprofits, providing support in key areas such as:

• Strategic Communication & Messaging – Crafting clear and compelling messaging to engage stakeholders.
• Project & Event Management – Planning and executing successful fundraisers, galas, volunteer appreciation events, and community initiatives.
• Organizational Development – Assessing needs, creating policies, and implementing efficient processes and procedures.

Additionally, I have had the pleasure of coordinating large-scale events such as fundraising galas, donor appreciation events, and after-prom celebrations for youth.

Leadership & Advocacy

I also served as the 2024 Norwalk Area Chamber Board President, where I collaborated with local business leaders, as well as city and county governments. Additionally, I worked with the Greater Des Moines Partnership and participated in their annual advocacy trip to Washington, D.C.
